Welcome third graders!! This will be my third year at Weatherstone and my 13th year of teaching with 7 of the years spent teaching 3rd grade. I received both my graduate and undergraduate degrees from East Carolina University. Aaarrgghh,Pirates! Although, my blood runs purple I am also a Duke basketball fan!
I have two wonderful children. My son, Josh is 27 and is living on his own and working for Wells Fargo in Greenville, North Carolina. My daughter, Camden is 21 and a senior at Campbell University, studying kinesiology to become a physical therapist. Although, I have become an empty nester we still love spending family time together whenever we can.
I’m excited about teaching Reading this year and the new adventures that lie ahead!!

Hi third graders! I am eager to return for my 7th year as a third grade teacher at WES! I attended Weatherstone as a child, and it has been wonderful coming back to teach at such an aWESome school.
I am a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and have had many years of experience in the classroom. I am originally from New Jersey but have lived in Cary the majority of my life, so North Carolina has always been my home. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Will, who works in software sales at Citrix. In our spare time we enjoy traveling, training for races together, spending time with our nieces and nephews, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs!
I look forward to teaching math, science and social studies this year and I’m excited for a fresh, new start to our successful year together!
